| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: The dash on our 2000 dodge ram is cracked to pieces. daimler chrysler says that it's not a defect. i have researched this and found it to be common. i am worried about air bag deployment and the possibility of one of the shards being projected into someone. we bought the vehicle last year, the dash was cracked when we got it and that's why the gentleman was selling it. however, now it's falling apart. it's no longer just cracked, but in pieces. the incident date indicated is around the time we got the vehicle as i have no way to find out when the problem began. *nm |
