| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Dt*: the contact stated the dashboard cracked above the steering wheel, and in the corner by the passenger window. the cracks continued to get worse until the crack above the steering wheel grew to 16 inches, and the one near the passenger window became a hole 3 inches in diameter. the cracks caused the wiring under the dashboard to corrode slightly. the vehicle was taken to a private repair shop, who determined that the dashboard needed to be replaced. the mechanic also noted that between 1994 and 2001, the dashboards on those vehicles were all cracking. |
