Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: In november of 2005 i purchase a 2001 pontiac grand am gt. a couple of days of having the car, when i went over a bump the car stalled on me. i thought it was a one time thing. i took it back to the dealer and they told me nothing was wrong. when it happened 2 more times, i took it back to the dealer and they told me that all of my relays were bad and that it would cost me $700. out of cost pocket. they told me this when my warranty expired. i thought i had a 90 day warranty, but it turn out that i had a 30 day warranty. i think they knew what was wrong with the car, but waited until my warranty expired, so they wouldn't have to fix it. my car is only years old and it has 42k on it. so how can all of the relays be bad? they also told me that since i have been driving the car, that i could of damage the relays myself. i didn't buy the car for it to sit in the driveway, i bought it so i could drive it. i called the lemon law, they told me they only cover the engine, i also called gm corp, they called the dealer and the dealer told them that they told me they would split the cost of the relays. which they never said that, i have a witness that can state that they never offer to split the cost to repair the car. i am at the end of my rope. you are my last hope. *nm |
