| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: The one "electrical" part that controls the instruments that give the speed of the car, rpms, gas, oil, ect....all gauges do not work. there has been no recall on this yet with gmc, i have a 2004 gmc envoy and this problem started to occur right after the 60k mile mark. this is a true "danger"...i have no idea what speed, how much gas, what my engine is doing...nothing...the dealerships want anywhere from $400.00 to $600.00 to fix this problem. this is a true mechanical defect. the service manager at one of the local dealerships, said that gmc has a real problem....they have to replace this one part often. its something they see often. i want gmc to recall this part and fast...i need my gauges to work. *jb |
