| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Front brakes and rotors needed replacement at 24,744 miles and again at 44,875. when i called the dealer the first time replacement was needed, they quoted me almost $600 to do the job. they did not inform me that in late 2003 nissan acknowledged a brake defect and extended the warranty to cover replacement of brakes and rotors under 36,00 miles. i found out recently that i should not have had to pay for the first replacement. the dealer refuses to reimburse my expenses since i had the work done at my local garege for a lower price than they quoted me. *jb |
