Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: I had the transmission replaced in my 2000 acura tl under the nhtsa required extended warranty. i had 63,000 miles on the car at the time. when the dealer replaced the transmission they advised me that the front motor mount was broken and asked if i wanted it fixed. i told them to replace the motor mount, at a cost of $163.43. i have owned over 17 vehicles in my lifetime and never had a broken motor mount. my wife and i are retired and do not in any way drive the car any any sort of rough manner. the car has never been any any accidents either. i question why a vehicle with only 63,000 miles on it should come up with a broken engine mount. is this another acura defect? *nm |
