| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Tl*- the contact stated that the 2000 chevrolet silverado 1500, had abs problems. while driving under 15 mph the contact almost had to stand on the brake pedal to get the vehicle to come to a stop. there was a recall campaign # 05v379000 for service brakes, anti lock. the contact has contacted the manufacturer, and filed a complaint with file # 71470052366. the contact stated that this was file over a week ago. the contact stated that he has had the sensors replaced on 3 occasions. the 1st sensor was replaced at 45,104 miles on 08/02/05, and the 2nd sensor was replaced at 46583 on 10/24/05 and the 3rd was replaced 01/17/07 with 60216 miles. the contact believes that the abs should not have so many problems. the contact stated that on 3 occasions he has barely averted a crash. *ak |
