| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: The 2002 jeep grand cherokee has a failure in the transmission with the governor pressure solenoid. the problem is that is part consistently fails even after being replaced. when driving the transmission begins to skip and slows all the way down. it can cause a crash and injure people. i have had this part replaced 3 times within a 1 1/2 year period and the cost is not cheap everytime it cost $656.00. there needs to be a recall on transmissions for jeeps from 2000-2002, because i am not the only one being effected by this mishap. *nm |
