Was Vehicle Towed: - Description of the Complaints: Shortly after purchasing our toyota sienna 05, the van wouldn't start. we had a dvd player installed which the dealership thought caused the problem. they found a pinched wire and said it was fixed. a few days later the car was dead again. they said we left our dome lights on which caused the dead battery, even though this car has an automatic shut off of the dome lights system. the car wouldn't start after listening to the radio for 15 minutes with the ignition off. the car wouldn't start after leaving the side doors open for 30 minutes. the car wouldn't start after leaving the trunk open in the time it took me to unload a car full of groceries. i have had my car in at least 5 times and i was told there was not a problem. they could find nothing wrong with the car and they gave me the impression that they thought i was crazy. then i had to rely on neighbors to jump my car when it wouldn't start. i purchased a new van from toyota because i thought they had a reputation for being a reliable company. i purchased a new van to have a reliable car for my family and now i'm afraid to leave my house without jumper cables. i need to know what action that i can take to feel safe again. *nm
