| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Upon delivery of my vehicle, when i got home i noticed that there was no keyhole on the passenger side of my truck. i do not have keyless entry. i consider this a safety issue for a number of reasons (e.g., a possible assailant near the driver side door), not to mention having to wait until the person who parked six inches off my driver door moved, because i couldn't get in the passenger side. what really irks me, though (along with the ny attorney general's office), is the fact that gm shows a picture of the passenger side of my truck, a 2005 chevy colorado, on the first page of their brochure, right through the middle of 2006, with a keyhole in the passenger door handle. when i contacted them, they said they were not responsible for mid-year equipment changes that differ from the brochure. however, i found that there were no 2005 models produced with passenger side keyholes. the attorney general's office says that is misrepresentation. i have not yet pursued that avenue. thanks for your attention. *jb |
