| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: The dashboard on the 2001 dodge ram with 49,000 miles had cracks all over it. pieces started to come off. it has not been confirmed yet, but i believed this was the cause of the substance errors due to wiring under the dash getting hot. i am extremely concerned for safety and a potential short which could cause a fire. a dash should not crack after 3-4 years. it started with minor cracks around 2005 and kept getting worse. i have never in my life had any vechile do this but thiswas my first dodge. *ak |
