Was Vehicle Towed: - Description of the Complaints: Tl*the contact owns a 2005 chevrolet uplander. when the contact closed the electronic door using the remote, he heard a beeping sound and the door re-opened. the dealer was unable to diagnose the cause of failure. the dealer sent the vehicle to a body shop and they aligned the door. approximately three months later, the failure recurred. the dealer aligned the door, however, the problem recurred approximately two months later. the contact opened the door and a black cable popped from the inside of the door track, making it impossible to close the door. the dealer replaced the pulley cable and the door motor. the current mileage is 35,981 and failure mileage was 2,000.
