Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Tl*the contact owns a 1999 honda accord. while driving over 30 mph the vehicle stalled. the vehicle would restart intermittently. there were no warning indicators. the dealer stated that the ignition switch needed to be replaced. the ignition switch was replaced in 2005 for nhtsa recall 02v120000, electrical system:ignition:switch. there was no failure at the time the switch was replaced. the failure mileage was 140,000 and the current mileage was 170,000. updated 01-14-08. *kb the consumer stated the replacement switch didn't work correctly for the first year. updated 12/12/07 |
