Was Vehicle Towed: - Description of the Complaints: 2000 saturn l series timing chain failure while driving down the road. i was not injured but have concern that someone could be. this is a costly catastrophic and potentially dangerous failure that gm has seemed to know about for some time as evidence shows they released an upgrade timing chain kit. the cost from $2700 to over $4000 to repair. the repair cost could exceed the value of the car. *jb
