| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Turned on my 02 jeep grand cherokee on a cold january morning, there was no heat after several minutes. this problem persisted for a week and after bringing my vehicle to a nearby dealer, i was informed the blend door actuator had failed. the cost to repair the issue would be in excess of $1000 and if i had opted to perform the procedure myself the parts alone would have cost upwards of $300 and taken at least 8 hours to complete. this seems to be an issue on all 1999-2004 jeep grand cherokees and leads to complete heat failure with excessively expensive repair costs. *tr |
