| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: My 2005 ford escape will accelerate unexpectedly while driving down the highway. the accelerator pedal would slam to the floor, the engine and the car would speed up and the pedal would immediately return to the up position. this has happened five time in the last year. the last two times listed below i find that the same problem has been posted on the internet in various sites, some resulting in crashes. this does need to be investigated immediately. *jb |
