| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: The plastic head light covers of my 1999 jeep grand cherokee limited have clouded over both on the outside and inside. therefore, making it almost impossible for the head lights to shine through this plastic covering. the dealer informed me that they do not replace these plastic covers. instead, i must purchase the entire head light assembly units for both sides of the vehicle. the cost of replacing this is approximately $700. it seems to me that when these plastic head light covers cloud up, a safety issue has occurred. in addition, it is a puzzle to me why one must replace the entire working head light units just because the covers have clouded. thank you. *jb |
