Was Vehicle Towed: - Description of the Complaints: I own a 2006 bmw 525i. the front passenger side seat has a sensor that disables the air bag if an adult is not sitting in the seat (based on weight) since it has been determined that airbags are dangerous for children. the sensor in my car is malfunctioning and always keeps the air bag disabled, even if an adult is in the seat. bmw acknowledges that this is a problem, but doesn't seem to have a solution. the dealer has ordered a replacement part, but has no delivery date for the part. in addition, it isn't even certain that the replacement part will solve the problem. so, i'm driving around without air bag protection for the passenger side seat. *nm
