| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: I purchased the evenflo chase booster seat, when i got it home and proceeded to fit it for my child i had a horrible time re-threading the straps. i had to use a screwdriver to get the metal plates out to start the process and once i got it re-threaded i worked at getting the metal plates to fit into the slots where they are supposed to go on the back of the seat and not only is this nearly impossible but it actually ate away the plastic that was to hold the metal plates in place. i gave up on this after a 30 minute struggle and took it back to the store, i would not have felt safe putting my child in it after it ate the plastic away while trying to get the harness strap plates in correctly. i would strongly suggest a recall on this seat not only is it horribly put together but it is way overpriced and i don't think it would hold up in an accident. *jb |
