Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: I failed the virginia state inspection on 23 january 2005 because of malfunctioned suspension. the front upper ball joints have to be replaced on 1999 dodge durango. the inspection facility told me that 7 out of 10 older dodges have this exact same problem, it is a rash of them failing and that they are should be on recall. mileage on my vehicle is over 130,000. i contacted two different merchants who do repair work, both have indicated they believe these to be on recall because of the exact same problem. i contacted my dodge dealer who said they are not on recall. i contacted the dodge company and they said they are not on recall, but all the merchants found it difficult to understand considering the failure rate they see. how do we go about getting this investigated and possibly having this failure added to the recall list? thank you.*ak |
