| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Dt*: the contact stated the vehicle has a problem with the abs. when stopping the brake pulsates causing an extended stopping distance. this occurs every time when trying to stop from a slow speed. there is a nhtsa recall, # 05v379000, regarding the hydraulic anti lock brakes. the vehicle has the same problems as indicated in the recall; however it is not included in the recall due to the vin. also, the vehicle has problems with the fuel gauge. after filling the vehicle up the fuel gauge will read empty, then jump to being full. this occurs intermittently. the dealer has been contacted. the consumer stated the sensors just needed to be cleaned. updated 02/21/06. *jb |
