Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: 1999 chevy silverado electronic brake control module has a defect that involves a relay inside the ebcm that sticks and will eventually cause it to stop working. *ts the consumer stated a technical service bulletin had been issued and what was recommended for fixing the problem, however the consumer had the work and it didn't correct the problem. in doing some research it was discovered that the problem for the abs failure is with the ebcm itself. the consumer stated the only way to fix the problem was is to replace the ebcm, but the dealership have been instructed not to replace it. *jb |
