Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: The cable connecting the shift lever to the transmission pulled lose and locked the transmission in the pre-failure state. if this happens when someone is shifting into park, they may not realize that the transmission did not go into park and the vehicle could roll causing an accident. the plastic connector on the shift cable is located very close to the exhaust pipe and appears to lose high temp over time. (the ears pulled through). *jb |
