| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: 1) i suddenly began hearing a noise that sounded like metal squeaking against metal under the driver side of the hood when i applied my brake. 2) when braking under normal circumstances, i can tell no difference. however, when braking under wet, slick conditions or suddenly, the anti-lock feature did not seem to work, and the brakes felt as though they locked. 3) nothing has been done to correct the problem. i took my truck to a local garage the day that i discovered the noise. they told me that the abs system was faulty. i took my truck to the dealer, explained to them that a recall was in effect for the same model, but my vin number was not included in the recall. i asked that my vehicle be repaired under the recall. the dealer refused. i have contacted mitsubishi directly in an attempt to have my truck repaired as i am not financially able to incur the cost of the repair at this time. my truck is parked at this time as i have been advised that it is unsafe to drive. *jb |
