| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Traveling on saturday evening on 2/4/06, roads somewhat slick, snow turning to black ice on road. lost control of vehicle on black ice doing 30-35 mph on residential street. car fish tailed hit curb with right rear, which spun car into roadway, hit right front on opposite curb. car under control after that. lost right rear tire / wheel assembly broke off the axle-at initial impact- however no damage to tire, rim slight dent. after accident looked at axle-seemed porous, concerned...poor quality, poor manufacturing. contacted insurance, towed vehicle to dealer. waiting for adjuster to look at vehicle. *jb |
