| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Ref: nhtsa action #eo2015--------------over the past two weeks the throtle had been sticking on my 2000 chevy silverado 5.3 engine. on feb 5 while aproching a light it stuck at 30 mph. after applying the brakes the vehicle wouldnt stop and vehicle continued forward. evasive action was taken by driving off into a field and placing the truck in neutral. feb 6 the vehicle was taken to weed chevy in bristol pa and they replaced the throttle body.two plugs in the plate and the pcv valve. when i paid my bill i noticed on the bill that there was a service flash for the mechanic, that this was a existing problem. *nm |
