| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Dt*: the contact stated the gas tank leaked slightly and smoked. there is a nhtsa recall, # 96v234000, regarding the tank assembly. the vehicle has the same problems as indicated in the recall; however it is not included in the recall due to the vin. in addition, during a smoking episode the emergency brake was applied, but did not hold causing the vehicle to roll back into a tree. the vehicle was towed to an independent repair shop where it is awaiting repair. |
