| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Dt*: the contact stated the antilock brakes engaged at 10 mph. there is a nhtsa recall, # 05v379000, regarding the antilock brakes. the vehicle has the same problems as indicated in the recall; however it is not included in the recall due to the vin. updated 3/20/2006 - the abs would activate resulting in extended stopping distance. when applying the brakes the vehicle would shudder and just before the vehicle would stop there was a load groan. the brake pedal would push up on the driver's foot ten the vehicle would lurch forward before the vehicle would stop. *nm |
