Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: I picked up my brand new dodge durango on jan 31st. a short time after, i received a call from my dealer, paramus dodge, regarding a safety recall for abs. i was told to schedule an appointment to have the defect corrected. i scheduled an appointment for monday, february 20th at 10 a.m. after sitting at the dealership for approximately 1 1/2 hours, they informed me that they could not perform the procedure because they did not have the right software that would enable them to correct the condition. it is quite troubling to me that i wasted time on my holiday to have this problem corrected. additionally, the dealer could not provide me with an estimate of when they will be ready to deal with the problem. moreover, i cannot believe that chrysler could have a safety recall and not be ready to deal with the recall. please let me know when and where this can be resolved. i am losing patience. this is a brand new car. *nm |
