| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: On multiple occasions, the low beam headlights suddenly stopped working. high beams and other lights all work. the low beams came back on after 1/2 hour the first two times, but now are not working again. i found several complaints about this problem in online discussion forums (for example: http://www.automotivehelper.com/topic303104.htm ), and the problem apparently involves wires that are pinched in the steering column due to the design of the tilt wheel. this is a very dangerous problem when driving at night and the lights suddenly go out. *jb |
