Was Vehicle Towed: - Description of the Complaints: Dt*: the contact stated while driving 30 mph in a curve the vehicle crashed and the air bags did not deploy. the contact tried to avoid a road hazard and lost control of the vehicle and crashed head on into a tree. as a result of the crash, neither front air bags deployed. the contact was wearing a seat belt; however, the contact sustained a whiplash injury. the vehicle was towed to the dealer for repairs after being inspected by the insurance company. the insurance company is having the vehicle repaired. the police were not involved since the accident happened near the residence on a country road. daimler chrysler denied any responsibility, claiming that their inspection revealed that the threshold for air bag deployment was not met. the impact was absorbed by the vehicle's crush points. also, during electronic testing no fault codes appeared that would have indicated any malfunction at the time of the incident. *ak
