| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: 2/10/06- letter from gm denying recall on 2001 chevy silverado truck, reference recall notice 05v379000. 4/9/03 - took vehicle to authorized gm dealer with concern that abs brakes malfunctioning. they replaced 4 wheel drive hub because no code showed on brakes. 9/17/03 took vehicle back to authorized gm dealer for same problem, they verified and replaced low speed sensor. 1/30/06, sent letter to gm customer service with information on repairs and notified them that they hadn't sent us a recall notice. these brakes have been repaired at the dealer and at a private repair shop and they still pulsate and fail at low speeds. *jb |
