Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Gas gauge is not reading correctly. gas tank holds 21.2 gallons, yet when the gauge reads 1/4, it only takes 8 gallons to fill. do a 360 turn, the gauge goes from an indicated 1/2 full to empty, then low fuel light comes on. as i straighten out the gauge takes about 10 minutes to recover. i find this is a common problem with this class of automobile. isuzu rodeo, amigo, and other honda passports, 1998 to present. i've been quoted between $500 - $700 to fix. from my research, the fix may last only 30k miles. *jb |
