Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: I am an automatic car wash owner. i have tried to engage the area service representative from chevrolet to meet with me, but this person has yet to agree to personally discuss their (in my opinion) engineering defect with me. 2000 through 2004 suv's with manually folding mirrors come apart by merely folding them in preparation for going through my wash. i have found that a pivot shaft retaining fastener unloads itself of the spring pressure during the folding-in process causing the vehicle owner a safety issue of a non-viewable side mirror despite the fact that the mirror is engineered to be folded in and out to go through car washes. *nm |
