Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: 1. was turning out of parking lot and in the middle of the turn i heard a clank, then loss of power. i regained power momentarily, but was not sure what exactly had happened. i then drove home, about 1/2 a mile, and called the dealership. the dealership then asked me to take my truck to them, about 4-5 miles away. the dealership recognized that something was wrong, but soonest available time to look at it was after the weekend. i left the truck at the dealership because i did not feel comfortable driving it the way it was then. 2. the failure ended up being the rear differential and since there has been a national back-order it has left me without transportation until the dealership could receive the parts and install them. i would not be able to get to the store to buy food. 3. the dealership ordered replacement parts for what was broken and they paid for myself to have a rental car while i wait for the parts to come in and get put in. *nm |
