Was Vehicle Towed: - Description of the Complaints: Windshield wipers work intermittently when switch is turned to a constantly on position. they also operate unpredictably random or not at all when switch is placed on one of the various intermittent positions. this failure causes problems with visibility, increasing risk of crash. there is a recall on 1995 s-10s (nhtsa id #98v150001) for a similar problem involving deterioration of soldering joints on the windshield wipers circuit. no known recall for 1998. *jb
