| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: The evenflo triumph carseat, my son was in it rear-facing as he should be. he was able to pull off the sides to expose the styrofoam. he could pick at the styrofoam and put it in his mouth he almost choked and died. i called evenflo. they said the 2004 model i have had been made with 3 clips ... they started making them with 4 clips in 2005 because of this issue. they never issued a safety recall or notified th owners at all. the one is my husband's car had the 4 clips. the styrofoam was still accessible, although not as easily. evenflo had me send both seats back to be examined. i am getting fully refunded. i told them they sould issue a recall before a child chokes and dies. *nm |
