Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Patient being discharged today and was trying to fit the cars eat in the back seat of their car. i am the car seat technician and the car seat was installed correctly as per the instructions from the manufacturer. the infant car seat with the base were restrained with the latch system with the latch belt attached at sides of car seat and hooked on to the latches in the crack of the seat on either side of car seat and only held down the back of the cars eat closes to the back of the back seat. the head of the car seat, which is rear facing, was not held down well at all and would easily slam the baby's head into the seat of the backs eat if a car crash were to occur. this infant seat needs to be restrained at the head of the car seat so that both head and end of car seat are held down. *jb |
