| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: When my son went to open the rear tailgate of my 2001 s-10 crewcab, both tailgate cables broke at the same time. we were fortunate that he wasn't on the tailgate as he could have easily been injured and damage could have occurred to the tailgate. i didn't realize this might be a problem until after mine broke and i started to do a little research on the internet. it appears this is happening to a lot of s-10 pickup owners. i am currently in the process of getting parts to replace the cables. *nm |
