| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: I'm filing a complaint about my 1999 chrysler concorde. my car was in the shop for other repairs and when i picked the car up and drove it home and begin to give me problems so i turned around to drive the car back to the repair shop and it cut off right in the middle of the intersection. i had it towed to the shop and they called me and said the engine went out. i could not understand why and how did this happen cause this was without warning and i only had the car for a short period of time and i kept the maintenance up on it. the repair shop said that this would be a hassle going thru the extended warranty company cause they would not want to replace the engine so i wanted a second opinion, i had it towed to another shop and they said the same thing, that this was a 2.7 engine and it's expensive and it's not worth anything and the warranty company will probably not cover much of anything. i feel that since this engine is known to have engine failure problems, something should be done about this cause it's not safe for an engine to go out without any forewarning and it's not affordable at all.. please acknowledge this immediately. *nm |
