Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Brake pedal pushes back aggressively, shimmy in steering wheel at speeds of 35 mph. steering wheel jerks at times to right and left at speeds of up to 50 mph along with brake pedal push back. this happened in a matter of days. the problem is getting worse. dealership says i have to pay to get new rotors a brakes. i have not drove that aggressive nor slammed on my brakes to have rotors replaced, nor do i ride the brakes to have my brakes replaced this early in the game for a new truck do this! this is outrageous that i was never told about a possible brake and rotor problem. this is a major safety issue. i will not put my family in this truck. the corporate person i talked to says they are aware of the problem and addressed the problem with that i was not the only person having this problem, but no recall was issued not even a warning was posted. this is not general maintenance this is a major(safety) defect. corporate told me that the rotors are to small for the truck. if there is a major accident who gets stuck with the bill my insurance company and i cover the gap. i have already replaced two tires for abnormal wearing in the front of the truck and that is after rotating several times. is this a safety issue, like the one ford had on its explorer? i will not recommend this car company to anybody. *jb |
