Was Vehicle Towed: - Description of the Complaints: I just purchased my 2000 pontiac grand prix this past january and as i happened to be driving it home from a navy event in front of my husband (thank goodness). he pulled up along side of me on his motorcycle and let me know that i had no brake lights. cruise control also stopped working before this, but i am assuming this all happened at the same time. he is an electronics technician and has spent hours trying to figure out what the heck is wrong. tomorrow i am going to go ahead and call the dealership and have them look at it. i also have surging with light acceleration or at highway speeds with no diagnostics trouble codes. both of these started at the same time, but he knows they are unrelated. *nm
