Was Vehicle Towed: - Description of the Complaints: Dt*: the contact stated while driving 45mph, the engine stalled and the check engine light illuminated. the temperature gauge of the engine also elevated and the engine was turned off. the vehicle was towed to an independent repair shop for inspection. the mechanic determined the intake manifold, head gaskets, and the engine cooling system needed to be replaced. the dealer and manufacturer have been alerted and agree the vehicle is included in a customer satisfaction program, # 03034, concerning the engine and engine cooling. however, both refuse to repair the vehicle without charge because the campaign expired.
