| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Dt*: the contact stated while driving 40 mph, the after market rim on the front passenger tire split in half. the split occurred leaving two crescent pieces of the rim. the rear driver side rim had also split two years prior to this failure. the first rim was replaced with a new rim, but the manufacturer determined the second rim should be welded back together. the weld racing inc., scorpio rims were on a 2001 ford f350. *ak updated 6/19/2006 - the consumer has replaced all four rims. the new rims are by another manufacturer. *nm |
