| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Dt*: the contact stated the abs system failed to stop the vehicle. while approaching a stop driving 5 mph the brakes failed and rear ended another vehicle. seat belts were in use by all 3 occupants in the vehicle. however injuries were sustained to the driver. the air bags did not deploy. the police were on scene and a report was filed. prior to the accident the abs light on the instrument panel was illuminated. the vehicle was taken to the dealer; however the dealer was unable to make repairs. there is a nhtsa recall, # 05v37900, regarding the service brakes, antilock. the vin was not included in the recall. |
