| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: I bought a convertible car seat, graco model 8639bev manufacture on 7 march 2006 for my four month old son and he is sitting in it rear facing. i noticed that his head flops forward and that it did not sit at the same angle as his infant carrier seat. on the af base that we work the child care center was offering a free car seat checkup so we took it in. they said though the tilt indicator was in the green like it said it was supposed to be for rear facing child seats, the seat was too far upright and needed to be tilted back to more like a 45 degree angle. with a swim noodle and a towel we managed to prop it up at the right angle, but now the tilt indicator is in the red. we corrected this problem, but aren't sure if there are other people with the same problem only don't know it. the inspectors were from the county health department (okaloosa, fl). *nm |
