| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: My vehicle is an acura mdx 2001 1) driving on road ~35 mph transmission slipped into park and the car come to a halt, almost rear-ended by car behind us. held up traffic for several minutes. 2) transmission slips between 3rd and 4th gear into neutral or park when going ~30-40 mph 3) took it to acura dealership and contacted acura customer service. acura customer service declined my claim although the car only has 58k miles on it. acuramdx.org referred me to this site where hundreds of customers have the same problem and for most acura corp. replaces the transmission. this is a defective product that should be recalled and it is putting the life of hundreds of owners and the public in danger. *nm |
