Was Vehicle Towed: - Description of the Complaints: Sudden intermittent acceleration and stuck throttle when trying to come to a stop. acceleration overpowers braking action. dealer has replaced idle control motor and problem continues. ford refuses to acknowledge. i've found a website safety forum documenting this problem and have also found 2 cases that ford has settled. you have to die first!!! if this happens to you, immediately shift the car into neutral or park and turn it off. car is back at the dealer again today. ford big wig engineer is suppose to check it within 2 days. *jb
