| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Dt*: the contact stated the abs system malfunctioned. the brake pedal felt hard and there is an extended stopping distance at any speed. the problem is only intermittent at this time. the vehicle was taken to the dealer who determined the accumulator, and multi pressure switch on the abs needed to be replaced. there is recall #96v099000, concerning the anti-lock brakes. the vin was included in the recall; however the part was not replaced because it had not failed. the contact is concerned the other parts should have been included in the initial recall. the contact is also aware of several individuals who are having the same problem. |
