| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: My 2006 mustang was just taken in to the dealer for a problem with the gas tank. i have never been able to fill the tank without difficulty. the first few months i owned the vehicle i had to force gas into my tank because it would not fill completely. the nozzle would continually shut off and not fully fill the tank. at this point the problem has changed and now the nozzle will "not" shut off and it over flows *every* time i fill up. the dealer has recommends that i try different gas stations until i find one that i don't have a problem filling the tank at. this is not a fix and it is not convenient however i have tried all the ford recommended gas stations bp, shell, amoco etc. this has not fixed the problem and the gas tank filling problem is an on going issue. not only is this environmentally unsound but it is also dangerous and considering the cost of gas it is also expensive for me. i was told that there is no fix for my vehicle because my vehicle already has the revised design gas tank, however the problem i have still persists. *jb |
